Due to overwhelming and enthusiasic response to last year's show, Eagle Harbor Marina and BIYC have already begun working with community leaders, BI Chamber, etc. on the plans for the 4th of July fireworks show for 2010. As always donations are always welcome. Click here to learn more.

  Facilities
Our Remodel Project has been completed.  In each of our three showers, we have new fiberglass shower stalls, vanity sinks with motion sensitive faucets set to “warm”.  We have new lights, fresh paint, colorful murals on the doors, and an easy-clean laminate floor.  In the laundry area, there are two washing machines and two clothes dryers.  A lending library of books and videos line the shelves.  Bags of ice are available in our big chest freezer.  The exercise room has a variety of workout equipment ranging from a treadmill to weight sets and a sauna. 

The Club House has been a gathering place on many fine occasions.  In addition to regular meetings, the Bainbridge Island Yacht Club holds “No-Host BBQ’s” after boat races Fridays or Sundays, and Wednesday evenings.  Various local agencies have held their semi-annual retreats, families have celebrated important anniversaries and all have enjoyed the unique perspective of Eagle Harbor.

The Grand Old Fourth Celebration was a blast! Thanks to the explosive talents of Tod Hornick, BoomTown Fireworks, the Bainbridge Island Yacht Club and the support of many generous friends the Arnold Jackson Memorial Fireworks lit up the night sky. Gordon Sound provided musical entertainment throughout the day and played a selection of songs synchronizing with the fabulous fireworks display.  This event coincided with our Customer Appreciation Day, giving many a chance to visit with and catch up with each other while enjoying festivities in best summer we’ve had in years.  This spectacular event is on the calendar for next year, and the fundraising continues.  To participate in and / or make a donation, please contact the Marina office at: 206-842-4003.

Halloween Party
Another fun tradition celebrates artistic decorations, tasty treats, and clever costumes.  Little bits of history and lots of imagination spawned startlingly realistic disguises – or were they the real thing?

Next BIYC Event ~ Lighted Boat Parade/Christmas Party
On Sunday, December 13, 2009, the Bainbridge Island Yacht Club will coordinate with the Eagle Harbor Yacht Club to host a Spaghetti Dinner immediately following the annual Argosy Christmas Ships Parade.  For more information, please check the BIYC website or contact yachtevents@gmail.com.

Afternoon Sailboat Races
